Jackson County Drug Court Requirements
1. ATTEND 3 AA OR NA MEETINGS PER WEEK 2. SUBMIT TO RANDOM DRUG TESTS ON COLOR CODE 3. Attend treatment sessions as assigned by your counselor 4. Attend court each week in Phase I. Twice per month in Phase II. Once per month in Phase III and once every 60 days in Phase IV and V. 5. Report to the Court Referral Office the Wednesday prior to your next Court appearance. In other words, you report to Court Referral weekly in Phase I, twice per month in Phase II and so forth. 6. Do not attempt to bring any kind of weapon (including pocket knives) into the Courthouse. Dress in appropriate attire for the courtroom and conduct yourself in a manner that displays respect for the Court. 7. Pay drug court fees in the amount of $175.00 per month. Drug Court Fees are due on the first day of the month. Payments after the 15th of the month are considered to be late and may be sanctioned by the Court. 8. Abide by any court orders. 9. Do not leave the State of Alabama without prior approval by the Court Referral Officer. 10. Do not attempt to substitute urine or possess a device that is designed to falsify a drug test. This violation will result in automatic termination from drug court and sentencing. 11. Do Not drop out of Drug Court. Individuals who are AWOL from Drug Court, who are subsequently apprehended by law enforcement, are automatically recommended for sentencing. 12. Provide proof of a High School Diploma or attend Adult Education classes to obtain a GED.
